Sleeve (formerly CardScan) is a private wallet for passports, ID cards, driving licences, boarding passes, loyalty cards, business cards and documents. It was built so that none of them ever leave your iPhone.
- No data collection: We do not collect, track, store or transmit anything you scan or type. Sleeve has no account and no server.
- On-device processing: Text and barcodes are read on your iPhone with Apple's Vision framework. Nothing is uploaded for recognition.
- Storage and security: Your scans and details are stored inside the app on your iPhone, encrypted by iOS while the phone is locked, and can be protected with Face ID or your passcode. They are included in your own iPhone backup if you back up your iPhone.
- Contacts: Sleeve writes to Contacts only when you tap Save to Contacts on a business card. It never reads your contacts.
- Notifications: Expiry reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. They name the type of document, never its number or your name.
- Purchases: Sleeve Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and no personal information.
- No third parties: Sleeve contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
- Deleting your data: Delete any item inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored.
